Gift Ideas

I am going to record ideas for gifts (hostess, birthday, Christmas, no reason gifts) here. I'd like to be able to refer to this whenever I need to be inspired. I'll try and be "fair" and write down where I saw the idea.

• Make a vase with wine glass (I did this for my sister for Christmas a couple years ago)
• making wrapping paper (I got the idea from Vaness. She was painting some with her boys)
• letterpress coasters
• Pick up things when I travel (artwork, antique boxes, serving trays, antique textiles/lace, guest towels, books, "local delicacies".. found this list from better homes magazine)
• Make personal pins, magnets etc. 
• fill a pot with garden stuff (housewarming)
• homemade jams in a bowl
• book labels (this book belongs to. fill a basket with this and bookmarks, journal and pencil personalized. found this idea from style at home mag)
• silhouettes for cards, pictures in frame (styleathome.com/silhouettes or Vanessa's blog)
• candlestick lamps (maybe just a creative project for home. decorating survey from better homes book 2007?)
• Edge and corner punches for crafty people who make cards
• Chalkboard paint (so fun)
